October 24 — the Saturday before, gorge peak, Pumpkin Show week — is the strong alternative and also tight. Friday, October 30 is the sleeper: same weekend, same costumes, and venues that are booked Saturday often have Friday open, which also means your guests can stay through the actual holiday at their cabins. For 2027, Halloween is a Sunday, so Saturday, October 30, 2027 is the date, and it'll be gone by summer.
